Red flags for know your business

When it comes to corporate clients, client due diligence can be complex. Often you’ll use multiple data sources and a healthy dose of human judgement. But that does leave you open to the possibility of missing something.

That’s why we’re introducing a new red flag summary to all checks initiated using our ‘Know your business’ tool. The summary will highlight key risk factors that might otherwise be missed. The red flags will highlight customer and geographic risk factors. This includes:

  1. Companies that are no longer active.

  2. Operations in High Risk Third Countries or a high risk sector.

  3. Corporate entities that appear on a sanctions list or where adverse media is found.

  4. Companies that have only recently been incorporated.

  5. Companies without an online presence.

  6. Officers who are disqualified directors, have a history of bankruptcy or instances where no officers have been identified.

Build a complete picture with Beneficial Owner discovery, sanctions screening, red flags highlighted and verification of individuals in a few clicks. All with our Know your business reports.
